As a child I knew my family used to own a mill in Aberaeron in Wales but I didn’t know which type of mill it was until I got my first proper weaving loom in 2008 I started asking questions and discovered that the Parry brothers owned a weaving mill. Aeron Woollen Mill still stands on the banks of the river Aeron but it was converted into flats years ago.

Here are some of the woven blankets I have woven on my Ashford Rigid Heddle weaving loom.
Plaid pastels brushed blanket Multi Purples with lurex blanket Ikeat style cotton blend yarn child’s blanket Boucle weft blanket Facilitating a weaving workshop at Skillshare Dundee. Autumn stripes scarf with twisted fringing My Silk Stone shawl.
